@TitanSR Probably late, but I've been moderating a game's Discord for a fair amount of time now. Besides the (thankfully) rare dumb/malicious people, it's one of the best things I've experienced in a forum. I highly recommend it for people with the responsibility to handle it, and wish you good luck moderating this one! If I had to give some tips I felt were important, they would be these two:

• Common sense should override the rules. If someone obviously didn't mean to break a rule, I let them slide after telling them it was against the rules. Likewise, if someone is obviously trying a loophole to get around a rule, then I'll enforce the normal consequences. I recommend checking with your fellow moderators and finding out where this applies.

• It's fine to be harsh when you need to, but never be too condescending/trigger-happy. Half of moderating a server comes from helping others out, and you can't exactly do that when everyone cowers in fear at your presence. Always keep your community presence great whenever and wherever you can!
