More things that I found by not triggering the mission: youtube.com/watch?v=kGnRRWfcWJE Although these are probably useless, it includes: (GML = Give Me Liberty)
- saving the game before GML (Staunton and Shoreside safehouses)
- activating missions before GML (Taxi Driver, Vigilante, Multistorey Mayhem, Gripped, etc)
- duping taxi fares while on GML (crashes the game after canceling Taxi Driver)
- dying on a mission, without GML active, spawns you at the hospital
- dying on GML, while the mission flag is off, spawns you at the bridge without failing GML
- saving the game while on GML (crashes the game when loading the save file)
- duping taxi fares in Luigi's Girls (crashes the game after canceling Taxi Driver) Just thought I should document this despite it all being seemingly useless.
I'm not sure if this is already known but I decided to make a video on it when it happened with me by accident. Video: youtube.com/watch?v=5plJHnwgrQk So apparently you can move as the cutscene is starting after having failed the mission (not sure if there is a way to do it without failing it), and depending on how you do it you can move closer to 8-ball, further away or not even trigger the cutscene at all. As the fade is happening after failing the mission, Claude starts moving by himself, and you can avoid it a bit by jumping. Although it seems interesting, in my timings it saved almost no time that would make it worth it, and also since it's not actually starting a new game, it wouldn't save any time. Maybe this will inspire some ideas if it wasn't already known. :)
