Emulator has much faster loads over a copy of the game by over a minute over the course of the run. I timed some loads on PPSSPP, and PSP (ISO), and got the result of PPSSPP saving approximately 95 seconds over PSP (ISO), this also means that it would save even more over an actual UMD disc, which really gives an unfair advantage, so we would rather not allow emulator runs. However I encourage you to practice on emulator, and if you end up wanting to run the game, I would suggest getting the Wii version as it's the fastest version since it has unlimited access to all of the glitches.
PC version is based on the old BloodCovered, and has a fastforwarding feature which the other versions are missing, and possibly some gameplay differences as well since it's on a different engine. While the PSP(/3DS) version is a remake of BloodCovered (Corpse Party BloodCovered ...Repeated Fear), I suggest making the PC version a completely different game.
As there is no 'Chapter Clear' screen at any point, should I stop at the credits or after the cutscene after credits? For now I'll just stop the timer when the last loading screen appears.
Hey, this is my first time doing this sorta marathon stuff, so I'd like to ask a few questions if that's okay.
- What am I supposed to bring with me besides the game I'm running? (Console, controllers etc.)
- Is the commentary going to be in Finnish or English?
I assume I'm supposed to post this here, I have improved my PB for Code Lyoko http://www.speedrun.com/run/kz50eljy
