Please submit the rest of the run or make it publicly available to verify.

Why don’t you just use a frame timer to re time the runs instead. It’s faster and easier

I was talking about basing runs on in game time (like the actual time that passes in game); a frame timer wouldn't be useful in this situation.

There's new categories now.

I added a rule that you have a maps-only run, if the only dlc you have is the map pack then you can run in it in the nondlc categorie(s).

I realized in my benevolent dictator fashion that in game time was a stupid idea of mine that would orphan literally every run. Essentially, adding it at this point bastardizes the page from a semantic and technical standpoint. Again only real time will be a thing. Also runs will not need to be verified. It will be innocent until proven guilty (we will believe you did the run until someone points out evidence that the run was a sham). But unless I hear complaints about new categories such as 1) hard mode, 2) scenarios, 3) every level (runs in every category combined), 4) plus I will be adding approved modded maps (proly tomorrow I'm running on wind power right now). I'm open to new suggestions. Also, I will consider all moderator applications going forward considering that you add at least a couple sentences about why you would be a good fit for the job, aside from having a decent chunk of runs. It looks like the latest moderator application was made 6 months ago, so it would be clumsy of me to consider retroactive submissions. Not to worry, if you put in an application I will consider it and most likely approve it.

I added a level called every level. If you can quantify how long it took for you to beat every map (pb), then it's yours for the taking. Note: on scenarios you need only complete scenarios, and you must have submitted an approved run for every slot in the other categories (hard/unlimited money/non dlc+map packs).

Do you still want to moderate?

IGT? How? So hearts of iron IV does in-game-time but I would have to add a seperate subcategory then assign it a different variable based on a script value, so given that we have subcategories that specify difficulty and game version there's no way to specify that at least without scrapping every run.

So what were going with is how much time elapsed in your game Days in game = minutes, 60 days in game = 1 hour, 2 hours in game = 5 seconds, 1 hour in game = 2 seconds, 3 hours = 7 seconds 2,5,7,10; given that's it's 2.5 you round down (video game logic). For instance, today is 10/23/23 a run that started A run that ended on december 9, 2023 would have taken 47 days from that point would be slotted at 47 minutes 10/23 12 am to 10/24 12 am that's one day or one minute. minutes = days

  1. We now have mods and every new run must be verified. If it turns out that the mod team cannot commit to this workload, then I will switch it back, but as it stands I will do a general check on 3x speed using newpipe. All runs will need to be permanently uploaded to somewhere that's not behind a paywall.
  2. We now have new subcategories ie hard mode and scenarios (same victory conditions just more options).
  3. Runs will now have an in game time component.
