Hello runners!
About the timing of the stop of the timer.
Basically, since the establishment of the leaderboard, the rule have always said "Timing Ends when "Ultimate Point" ordeal Execution Completed."
It means that when the words "Execute Completed" appear on the screen after defeating Mephistopheles, you can stop the timer.
Maybe it’s because I accidentally pressed the timer late in the earliest submitted record and used this time on the leaderboard.
All current records under Full Game Any% PC didn't stop timing after defeating the final boss until the ending song starts.
So today I will make time corrections for the records that stopped the timer too late.
Full Game Any% PC 1st Place - Megshis 3h13m36s -> 3h12m56s
Full Game Any% PC 2nd Place - sachi_kudou 3h54m19s -> 3h53m39s
Full Game Any% PC 3rd Place - iceoffreeze 3h59m42s -> 3h58m55s (My record had an unreasonable loss of opening animation, so I added an extra 95 seconds to keep it fair)
If you want to submit a new record, please stop the timer when the last "Execute Completed" words appear, then you can enjoy the remaining time with Thelema and watch the ending scene.
When the corresponding language is not installed in your PC May cause the text display in the game to be missing
I see this glitch in oBRoGANo's record. But this seems to only affect the display of text
After comparing, I found that the reading speed of the game didn't seem to change any faster.
So even if you have this glitch in your record,it will still be accepted.
But I personally don’t recommend running in this situation (especially if you run the True Ending)
Because the text options in Chapter 4 will not be displayed, it is more likely to make you click on the wrong option
I noticed this in the new Chapter 4 speedrun record
There are 5 languages for game setting.
And I test the reading speed of all versions.
The result of the fastest is Korean version.
The second fastest is English version
Chinese version and Japanese version are about the same speed
I consider it may be related to the way how text displayed (vertical or horizontal) and the number of characters
