The Switch version is an official version, so there shouldn't be any reason it's not allowed. Pretty sure the only reason it isn't on here is cause nobody added it as an option since it came out on Switch.

So, the way the minigame works is, you get up to a 5x multiplier on the score when you consecutively hit the ghosts (so the first ghost gives you 10, the 2nd in a row gives you 20, etc. up to 50.). Missing an arrow shot or hitting the girl breaks that combo and you start again at 10. So, obviously, you need to keep that multiplier as long as you can.

Now, the girl only starts showing up halfway through the game, so you can shoot every board that shows up in the first half. In the 2nd half, all the boards just keep moving, so you have to be good at knowing where to shoot to hit the moving boards. That just comes with practice.

There can only ever be one girl on the screen at a time, so if you know where the girl is, you can shoot every other board that shows up. Plus, when the girl moves off the screen and disappears, the very next board that spawns will always be the girl, so you can use that to help determine which boards you can shoot before they fully become visible.

So using that information, plus just knowing where to aim to hit the ghosts and not wasting your shots, it should be fine. My personal record is somewhere around 2600, so there is definitely a lot of room for error in the minigame.

That being said though, this minigame was nearly impossible for me when I was younger, so it's just a hard minigame when you're starting out.

Anyways, hopefully that helps. Good luck!

Text has little to no effect on how fast the game is for Phantom Hourglass. There are 2 reasons that the Japanese version is fastest:

  1. When you need to fight Jolene while waiting for the Phantom Sword to be forged, in Japanese, Jolene consistently appears right outside Zauz's Island, so you can just fight her immediately. In the other versions, Jolene can't appear there, so you have to savewarp to put Jolene in a consistent spot and then sail towards her. This saves approx. 2 minutes on the JP version.
  2. Whenever you warp using the cyclone slate, in Japanese, you only get one cutscene that plays: The cutscene where the cyclone picks you up. All other versions of the game include an extra one where the cyclone puts you down.

So, all other versions, Korean version included, aren't quite as fast as the Japanese version.

Fire Temple might be a bit short of a category. My best time for Fire Temple RTA is 19:54, which isn't very long.

IIRC, people used to run Ghost Ship RTA, where the goal is to beat Cubus Sisters basically. That one's a decent length imo (my record is 1:33:35), but something like Temple of Wind RTA would be a good length too (My best is 51:05).

I'm not a mod, so I can't make it, but I'd be fine with making some kind of shorter category for this game. Any% is pretty long.

Sorry for the late reply, didn't see it until now. Although I have no way of confirming it, I can't imagine the loading zones wouldn't work before they're supposed to be used. Just like most other games, I'm pretty certain that if you somehow glitched into them early, they'd work, and you could get to later floors of the dungeon early.

This could only really be used in 2 places though if it worked: Right at the start of the game, when you're getting the SW chart, and when you're getting the NW chart. When going to get the Sun Key Crest, you can't progress further, because the Triforce password doesn't work until you've talked to Zauz after Ghost Ship. Anything after that, we already do in 1 trip, so there's no need. Doing it when getting SW chart would leave you stuck, because you can't get past B1 without the boomerang, which you get in the first dungeon. After NW chart, however, would be a big find. It would skip a visit to TotOK, and potentially even skip half of Wind Temple depending on how the game's flags work.

Ideally yeah, you'd include the ship parts (or at the very least, just the best of each ship part type), but since it's all RNG which you get, that'd be awful. Thus, I don't think it'd be necessary, and we could have an 100% category without them. You could also include catching one of each of the 5 types of fish in the game. Though, you already have to catch 4 of them for a heart container, and the last type doesn't get you anything unique, so that part's debatable. I don't think we need to bother with it personally.

So overall, I agree with your list, except for the 25:00 TotOK completion. IIRC, you don't actually get anything for it, so I don't think it should be necessary.
