Emulator is banned because DK64 does not emulate well (particularly poor lag emulation), so if you play on emulator you will not be allowed to submit to the leaderboards.
If you're just looking to play the game, BizHawk is currently the best emulator for DK64 ( http://tasvideos.org/BizHawk.html ).
1.11.5 is the best version if BizHawk according to theballaam96.
Oh shoot, this is a duplicate thread, I was wondering why this showed up twice.

Video evidence is suggested, but not required.

Modifying neutral by hitting L+R+Start is allowed.

Video is not required, but it is strongly recommended.

If by modifying neutral you mean doing L+R+Start on the controller to reset the neutral position, then yes that's perfectly fine.
Hey friends, reminder that the guy said "if you or anyone else does one, I'll add it." No use responding to the forum post if nobody does a full game run.
There doesn't need to be a category on the leaderboard to do a run. If you think a category will be fun, go ahead and run it without a leaderboard.
I absolutely agree with Blitzerama. If you are still absolutely dead set on separation, put it to a poll.
Doesn't matter anymore because I just beat the record again. 8)
My run just got verified and then unverified. Any idea what happened?
Is there a reason that the only category is the qualifying lap? I'd like to see full game runs at some point.
Is there a way to even get to level 50 in co-op mode for tanks? From my experience, it always just ends at level 20.
I'd recommend adding tenths or hundredths of seconds to the IL leader board, since the individual levels are so short.
I've thought about it a bit more, and I've come to the conclusion that once it's loaded, Jet Boy does not require internet to function, so speed of internet should just effect the time it take for the game to initially load, not the actual speed of the game.
Either the end of the preceding level or the click of the box is appropriate. To ensure your timing is accurate, I would hit your timing key and click the level simultaneously, and hit the timing key the instant you touch the goal.
Yeah, so it looks like jetboy runs the javascript code directly onto the page instead of using flash, so I don't know of a way to download it. Talking to the developer is likely the best option.
I've been able to do it with other games on coolmath, so I'll investigate when I return in 4 days.
I've been able to download games from websites before so that they're playable offline, but I'm currently out of the country. I'll look into it when I get back and post my findings if I'm able to do it.
