I started streaming.

Despite my best efforts to provide a quality, substantive stream, I frequently lack the patience, temperament or sobriety to do so. However with TwitchTV's recent "push" for the speedrunning community I firmly believe that now is the most appropriate time for one to begin speedrunning and streaming my attempts to do so.

In lieu of quality gameplay, how do I make my stream the best stream to watch? I once believed that a simplistic approach would be fine to attract viewers. My game video of course, the stream chat for posterity and to increase viewer incentive to communicate (who doesn't like seeing themselves on stream?), and a facecam so viewers can attach a visual personality to what they see and hear. This has not worked.

So now I need the community's help. What makes a stream successful?

I have decided to add the following to my stream in hopes of attracting viewers: Controller cam Splits -predicted time -goal time -sum of best -WR time -Comparison to WR splits A splits graph of some sort A pie chart of some sort "Currently listening to" information Scrolling donators list "Stream time" counter Streamer's local time Viewers counter Logos of the social media you can use to communicate with me -Twitter -Facebook Group -Youtube -Google+ circle -Steam Group -My paypal (GIVE ME MONEY!) -My bitcoin (GIVE ME YOUR DIGITAL BEANIE BABIES!) -My Kik messenger information CPU Cam Audio visualizer (so you can SEE when I'm talking) Elbow cam Neighbor's bedroom cam Video of my PB run for comparison My shopping list Reminder to subscribe (GIVE ME MONEY) My available emotes if you GIVE ME MONEY (subscribe)

Please, any suggestions will help.
