Uhhhh frankly dont know if I will submit any times now. its kind of a pain in the ass to have to uninstall and reinstall all my skin mods if I want to play to have fun, or run for a new time. Disappointing, but what can you do beyond just put the runs on youtube and call it good.

Currently the best-found route is at 1:15 found here however its my opinion that we can make it better. There has to be a way to throw the bag into the objective from the second floor, cutting out the awkward section where you have to go to the first floor, throw the bag in then backtrack and go up top to get to the vent to leave.

Wanted to know, if I should only practice on normal and overkill or if hard and very hard will have categories as well. currently I beleive hold the world record for very hard rock the cradle, and want to know If I should refine that run or abandon it in favor of the easier normal run

Hello, Im Kara, I also go by GoodGirlKara. Im a huge speedrunning fan and have loved watching runs for years. I caught the bug for speedrunning when I accidentally got a 3rd place time on a mirrors edge catalyst time trial during the beta. I missed a jump and when I respawned, I was significantly closer to the end of the trial than I was before. so, I literally lucked into a 3rd place time with a glitch I had no clue how to replicate LMAO... im sure I have that screenshot still saved somewhere.

I have finally decided to sit down and start speedrunning myself. like a legitimate attempt at it. I however am at a loss for what game to choose. I know I wanna do a survival horror game as I have always loved playing RE and Dead space so much. however, I don't know what to choose. RE4 seems super hard to learn, dead space 2 has a whole bunch of things you need to install to skip stuff like the intro, RE2R seems too competitive for me to do well in. To top it all off all the tutorials or guides I have found are playing on the hardest difficulties and I don't feel like im ready to run a super unforgiving game yet. I just want to get my first game under my belt as I really want to speedrun Calisto Protocol, Dead Space Remake, and RE4 Remake when they come out.

I just feel super intimidated on starting and dont really know how to start. Any help or advice would be appreciated.
