requesting moderation for https://www.speedrun.com/clayton/full_game
The future of the leaderboards remains uncertain. somethings going on with the moderator (TetraxZ), he's deleted all of his runs and has put out a tweet that has gotten people worried, can't see it cause his twitter is now private. tried reaching out to him in all social medias but he has yet to respond. tried contacting him on discord but he unfriended me for some reason. I'm worried that he might do something bad to himself and I'm not sure what to do. the best all I could do is request mod so I can keep the leaderboards active.
i know you might have a case but could you explain why the evidence is important, (just to provide context)
remember when P0isoned33 talked about getting a fast 1-5? well i have figured out how to do it :Step By Step: simply walk on the platform and go to the left corner and jump. while you're in the air, press the d button and when you're about to land, press both A and W at the same time and jump straight away. it'll result you on getting boost but it has to be very precise. if performed correctly, this will save up about a couple of milliseconds and even a second as well. this is me performing the strategy..
I was watching tpha's run the other day and I noticed something very sceptical. At around 0:05, there was a part when the timer started before stopping a split second later. When played back, its very unlikely to detect but that's only if you're blind. I've decided to hop into hitfilm express to investigate this myself and this is what I found...
The timer lasted for about 2 frames with the timer showing 0.03 and 0.06. After some testing with LiveSplit and a keyboard tester, I've confirmed that its not humanly possible. This is because LiveSplit has a hotkey delay for a quarter of a second. Even if its set to 0, it still has the delay, which could mean that the timer was pre-recorded to cover up any splices.
