Studying streams probably helps. Jaxler and I made a couple different routes. (under the Guides section) It's pretty barebones though, straight to the point.

I know I have already asked for a name change, but could I please have my name changed to GlitchPhD? Thank you in advance. :)

Well I mean, you don't have to actually mash fast during the text, just do it kind of casually near the end of the text. As for using a controller that mashes for you, (such as turbo or macro as you explained it) it wouldn't seem fair because you're not actually doing those button presses yourself. Again, you don't have to mash really fast like you would in other games to get through text, because Chibi Robo has an automatic text speed not influenced by any button presses. Plus no other game would accept the use of such controllers, so I guess it's safe to say that you should just use a normal one.

Can you please take out the "Official" part of my name so that it's just "GlitchDoctor"? Thank you in advance. :)

Yes, you are allowed to use Wii for a run with an official disk. The only thing that isn't allowed is running the game through an SD card or USB device on a softmodded Wii, or on emulator. You can get the Wii signal through your PC using a capture card. Some recommendations I would give is the Elgato Game Capture HD ( https://www.elgato.com/en/gaming/gamecapture-hd ) if you're using Composite (Red, White, and Yellow) video cables on the Wii. However, if you're using Component cables on the Wii (Red, Green, Blue, another Red, and White) then I would recommend the Avermedia LGP. ( http://www.avermedia.com/gaming/product/game_capture/live_gamer_portable ) I know they are a bit pricy, but this is what I recommend. Others would say to use things like easycap or Dazzle, but I heard some bad things about those, so I wouldn't recommend those. Let me know if you have any more questions.

Actually the Luigi with GBH in hand isn't actually all that special upon further inspection because as it turns out, apparently that's what Luigi normally does. lol

United StatesGlitchPhD7 years ago

Yeah. Well I just realized something lol. I guess what I said before didn't matter because Luigi normally holds the GBH in his left hand, just never noticed that before.

United StatesGlitchPhD7 years ago

Update: Just noticed the GBH in hand glitch. May be useful, but not sure.

United StatesGlitchPhD7 years ago

Ok I tested it. From what I could tell it's basically similar to what we already can do which doesn't really help any. Like for instance if you grab an item as you suck up a boo (i.e. Mario's shoe) Luigi will grab onto it and hold it while he's talking to E. Gadd. Now I'm not saying this wouldn't be useful, but I'm just saying that it's similar. You may continue to post whatever you find, I'm just letting you know.

Oh wow interesting. Were you using any type of mods or cheat codes in order to achieve this, or was it the vanilla version, no modifications whatsoever? Also I would greatly appreciate if you could post some of the photos you mentioned, regardless if it looks bad or not, just so I can have an idea. Also if you could post a video of the storage trick being performed it would be even better so we know what exactly you're doing and how you do it.

If it's 1:05 or better, you're gonna need video proof. I know I may not be a mod, but I know what I'm talking about lol ;)

You need to stand on the rotating platform at all times when they're dancing. Only then will they either give you Early Release or 2nd cycle heart.

You can only perform the glitch on the Japanese version of the game.

Super Mod:

JaredsGiantz - Very skilled, good friend, one of the OG runners iirc. No reason why he shouldn't be super mod. HDlaxbm - Another friend, this guy comes out of nowhere and gets insane times. Put him up with the super mods. Smoof - Another OG runner, sure his activity in the game and community may fluctuate, but yeah, like I said above, put him up there.

Regular Mods:

Nimbus - Cool guy, has handled with situations in the community before. Plus he comes into my chat a lot, so here you go. Mastahbobby - Good friend, coming back into the LM scene soon. He's played through this game for quite some time, around the time I started iirc.

There, I shared my input.
