As of this point, yes, emulator runs are not allowed. Looks like that text needs to be fixed.

We discussed it on the Discord in the past, but there wasn't enough push to get Dolphin runs allowed.

Yeah, at this point I've given up on SRC doing high scores, and am just making the best among the exiting sites that handle scoring.

Alright, but back to the main topic - could we get the existing category named to indicate it allows cheats, and get a new any% that does not allow the in-game cheats?

Well, watch the alien run that you verified. It starts with "restore game", and then he begins play with over 7 million points. Can that run be removed?

Whoa, how'd I miss they were added so long ago? Time to get going on them! (I see all my of TG times have been surpassed here too...)

I know if I was going to stop gaming, I would have done it by now. I sure wouldn't have turned our bonus room into a game room and started collecting consoles and games if I was going to stop at some point. :)

Any chance that we might be able to disable custom themes only on specific games? Some of the custom themes are great and I'd love to use them, while others... yeah, good reason to be able to hide them.

Ever consider adding individual level times for the various Burning Laps in the game?

As someone who's spent time doing score hunting elsewhere, the fact is there's a need for a site that does it right. Because there currently isn't one - whether it's completely confusing and unusable sites, effectively zero validation, or site owners that don't quite know what they want to do, nothing out there now has a chance at getting enough people on board. But it also means that SRC shouldn't do it at all if it's not going to be better than all of what's out there already - if it's not compelling enough to bring in the existing highly fragmented scoring "community", it just makes things worse.

To whether or not it's interesting enough... well, remember there's a lot that scores cover. They're not all about how long someone can marathon the game without collapsing. Honestly, any game where the top score is just about playing the longest is probably not worth even tracking.

Feeling at this point that we should see if there's anyone that objects to using emulators - I'm not sure there is.
