Hi, I'm new to speedrunning and I am interested in running MGS5 for fun. I am learning to run the game on a PS4 and it is really wonky to get rid of patches, so I would enjoy just running on the new patch and be done with it. (if I eventually get serious about it, I might get the PC version)

I am although a bit confused with the rules for this leaderboard. From what I understood though, the new patch (currently 1.10) does not allow you to use the helicopter glitch, so the current WR are unbeatable unless we find new glitches, since most missions have about 1 minute extra by landing the helicopter.

I know there is the "Old Patch" tag on the runs, but what happens if I make a "Current Patch" run, even if my time is worse than the current run(s)? Should it not be another category all together? Like "Any% No Heli glitch", kinda like what they use in FF7 "Any% no slots" runs?
