Despite the fact that I've been trying to ensure I verify these runs correctly, I overlooked a specific rule which I will now be remedying. Oops. Gonna fix all of the runs that just got verified with significantly slower times than they should, because I forgot that any%/hero% is timed with igt first
As a secondary thing: ive been going through all of the runs, and unless i missed something, there should be a bulk appearance of verified runs (and a new moderator) very soon o7 so expect that
Due to many people asking, the Discord Link will be provided in this forum, and later, on the resource page.
There's been a lot of new life recently, I've just been struggling with work ethic and schedule due to a lot of personal stuff and haven't been able to sit through the longer speedruns recently - though I'm getting there.
Hey, sorry, mental health, dnd + some personal work stuff came up. I'm more than likely gonna be posting for some volunteer mods soon lmao but you should see a bunch of runs get verified today
Yes, i've just been quite busy with life stuff and tend to verify in clusters. I'll get on it soon - within the next 2 weeks or so.
Hello! If it isn't too big of a hassle, can you move the hand camera for the next run to be away from the health and stamina bars? We prefer to have everything visible. Thank you!
I've noticed the timer sometimes starts at 1. Is that what you're referring to?
That partial fall damage landing going straight into another looks like it might have sped things up. Doing that + optimized movement and sub 20 looks super possible
Working on the comments I'll give, I'll write out any tips I have shortly!
Fantastic run! Can't wait to see even more improvements in the community!
That's fair, but this is also a speedrunning community, and enjoying the design of the game is more of a priority for when you're not trying to breeze past the design of the game is what I'm saying.
That's why the NG+ runs use ferrystones, it's the same principle with skipping the BBI doors, to complete the goal faster. I don't disagree the game is meant to be enjoyed, but with this being a speedrun we're discussing, it wouldn't make sense to slow down in the context of trying to go faster.
Yes, but also, since this is a speedrun the objectively most optimized way to go through the run would be without the helix being touched - after all, the goal is to cut down time, not learn how to make it to the helix.
Amazing! It's been great to see you progress like this. If you need any tips to get better, we have a discord! Edit: spelling
This was amazing! The new strats you employed were super intelligent, and the awesome Gorechimera luck really tied it all together! The fact that it switched from a roar to a paw swipe in one frame, that must have been such a rare thing to happen! Nice job, and I hope to see even more from you soon!
So, I recently found a new strat for BBI. You can obtain the first Void Key an indefinite amount of times by doing a Hard Mode NG+, cutting out the entire Void Key section of the run - for both Void Keys. Ive gotten a run that's sub 10, with sub 9 VERY possible.
It's time. I'm so proud of you, Havoc, and how far you've gone. I can't wait to see you progress to first, and retake my place as second behind you. Congratulations. You deserve so much recognition for this!
I knew you'd make it! Welcome to top 3! Can't wait to see you unseat me lmao, I think I'll stick to challenge runs if you promise to get first place for me. I'll still do speedruns, but I have to practice the nuzlocke a little more.
