Yes the old rules had that mentioned, however the rules have been updated very recently (yesterday), it now states "manual pausing". PC runners (like HannyS said) can use the Load removal tool available within livesplit.
At this point i see no reason to split the leaderboards into IGT and RT, since the load removal tool is easily accessible for PC runners, since it has been integrated into livesplit.
As for retiming current runs, the loads are hard to spot manually, plus we also have more timesaves in glitchless (due to the various changes made to the rules), making most of these runs obselete compared to any runs that will use the new ruleset.

Yea warping is a really weird glitch, from the many attempts that i did, it looked pretty random. Altough i do think that angle/location on the elevator matters. Also one thing that i did not record, and not sure if it works on different versions/platforms. Is the fact that if you play a female character, you can start sprinting out of an elevator (in the first section of the game), without getting the forced animation the game puts you in when playing a male character.
