I was thinking of running this game, but I don't have a Sega Mastersystem. I was wondering if emulators were allowed, and if so does it need to be a specific one?

Wryn's laser rifle recharges while using energy blast, so you can use the two back-to-back. Notice that I'm holding the fire button the entire time and still getting full powered rifle shots.

This could actually be RTA viable despite the menuing needed to switch to energy blast because it saves so much time on Chaff Spammer and the first boss in the Warship.

So reflecting all of Robo Bunny's bombs does a ridiculous amount of damage compared to just reflecting the pink bomb.

This was done on very hard mode, but it can also be done on lower difficulties.

This can bring the fight down to 2 cycles if she uses this attack twice, when normally it would take about 4 cycles for the clawed girl to finish this fight on very hard mode (it normally takes 3 on hard and normal mode).

I was only able to reflect her yellow bombs back at her at around a 1-2 o'clock position relative to her. Where my cursor was when reflecting didn't seem to affect where the bombs went very much. The reflect will usually whiff if I try to reflect at any other position, regardless of where I point the cursor.

On hard and normal difficulties, you need to wait until she fires her third bomb before reflecting.

This doesn't save time on easy because you can 2 cycle her regardless of what she does.

The Rival is also able to do this, though I'm not sure if that saves time considering he can't reflect pink bombs.

I just tried it and it works on Very Hard mode as well. There's 2 things I could think of that are causing this. The clawed girl's attacks seem to have a grey and blue hitbox on them.

This is what it looks like with hitboxes enabled. http://i.imgur.com/dpzG4Cp.png

I'm guessing the blue hitbox might be a sweetspot that deals more damage.

The only other thing I could guess is that this is a glitch similar to what the laser rifle does, where if you hit an enemy at point blank range with it, it does double damage for some reason.

On this note, I also realized that when fighting the rival's van in the same level, attacking the driver does slightly more damage than attacking the rest of the vehicle. I might look into this on other bosses later.

Edit: I just checked on all of the bosses on challenge mode and the epilogue, and couldn't find anything else
