Dude this site is legit. No need to test. This is THE site for speed runs actually no need to test. Other than that the rules also state you have to start on a new file so it doesn't matter the run would be illegitimate.

You need a capture card, and the best one (elgato 60s I believe) costs about 150 US dollars. There isn't a screen recording app for the switch, probably because of the very limited storage space. Unless you can get a capture card you can't record. The setups for them is quite easy if you purchase one, and there are tutorials on YouTube if you can't do it with the instructions in the box.

Trying to get into speedrunning and SMO seemed like a good place to start. Can someone link me a good tutorial all I've been able to find is people telling me moon locations, but not where to go from there and how to get there in the first place.
