Hello mods of the SA2 speedrunning community, Concerning the recent mission 1 WR, why was the moment of death used as the final time? There were still a few seconds of gameplay after the timer stopped to get to the finish. IMO, that goes against the principle of speedrunning, since idens run was still faster. If there was a glitch that stopped the timer at 00:01 and then beat it after 25 seconds, doesn’t seem fair to register the run as 00:01, no? This goes to show that the IGT is unreliable. Anyhow, no offense to anyone, just sharing my disagreement.
