There are two versions of this game online that differ concerning the amount of damage inflicted upon the player. While the newest version (2.00 from 1994) has the difficulty toned down quite a bit, the older version (1.60 from 1993) subtracts way more energy from the player. Most contraptions and some enemies here kill you on instant, but in 2.00 they render minimal damage upon the first hit. It could also be a bug in the latter - not sure about this as there is no information anywhere. The run of Volume 1 was done on version 2.00, while Volume 2 and Volume 3 were done on 1.60. That version difference was not known to me at the time of running Volume 1 and I only discovered that later while practising for the other two volumes. Eventually, I opted for the harder version for Volume 2 and 3 to have more of a challenge. So if anyone is ever going to provide more runs, it is something that will definitely need to be taken into account, if those runs feature different versions than the current WRs.

Sub 10 is possible in Episode 1. Runs of the others are pretty bad.
Time starts as soon as you move in the first level (next frame after the level has loaded) and ends once the final screen (congratulations) pops up.
CPU cycles auto or 5000. CPU cycles 7000 (newer runs)

Not sure if the game is abandonware entirely so I only put a link to the first shareware episode. But the others are also around online.
You can glitch through pretty much everything in this game. Episode 1 could be done a lot faster if there is a way to get an out of bounds exit in the final level, which I didn´t find when playing around. So you have to play through the last level normally more or less, apart from the last bit of the level to reach the exit sign. Sub 5 is easily possible. The game goes faster when you disable the sound but its also harder to get through the walls then.
Time starts as soon as you move in the first level and ends as soon as the final screen comes up.

There is an invincibility trick that renders you invincible against most enemies but not running out of air. You get hit four times and once more by a mine.
Time starts as soon as you move in the first level and it ends when the last boss explodes.
