Start a new file that has watched the intro and exit, then copy that file every time you start a new run. That way to reset you just copy let's say the file in slot 1 (the base file) over slot 2 (the one you do runs) and then start slot 2.
In addition, I suggest making another user on the switch since it prevents you from accidentally copying over your main file.
hey if you are gonna have this type of video description at least consider beating goldfish's time, which has about 30 minutes of slower load times because of it being the wiiU version:
Tropical Freeze on digital is on sale at $42 until today (6/16 at 11:59 pm PT). Reminder that for any% it saves around 22 seconds over the physical version so if anyone is interested please take note
I'll just copypaste what Enkaybee said
"it's called file completion and it exists" "lots of people have run it, many more than once"
So basically there have been runs of it but never with proper routing so they are more like a fun challenge when the game came out.
For now I would just try to record the gameplay with your cellphone or something. As far as the leaderboards thing we need to have the game in our hands first but you are more than welcome to join the Discord server for updates.
Lots of people wanna run Funky mode with just Funky (including me) so it'll really likely be a category :P We still need to figure out how to organice the leaderboards though, but I'm sure we'll figure something out quickly when we have the game in our hands
So, about a year ago the Tropical Freeze community got an autosplitter so we could finally remove the inconsistent load times from our runs. The problem is that from that moment on only 1 person had PBd until today so now that finally someone else got a PB we now notice that Time Without Loads overwrites the RTA time despite the rta time being slower than better runs that had no Time w/o Loads.
For example, if our top 3 runs are:
--------- rta---------Time w/o Loads 1st---1:30:00-----------1:12 2nd--1:31:00---------(old run) 3rd --1:32:00---------(old run)
Then, someone uploading an rta time of 1:50 that has 1:30:30 then that person would be placed 2nd, which is obviously not what we want.
Is there a way around this? I was hoping that the learderboard sorted by rta on these especific cases but I guess not. Thanks in advance.
Hey, I keep getting the same error message and I don't know how to solve it, please help :(
Error:[string "--Rayman Legends Load Times..."]:381: attempt to perform arithmetic on a nil value
Yeah, if you compare the pro controller loads with gamepad loads it might vary ~2 or 3 secs each loading screen in worst case scenario, it's pretty dumb.
Well sadly this game loads way too slow unless you use the gamepad, and even then the loading time isn't great.
Hey! Sorry for not responding sooner but I rarely check this site now.
First of all, the category doesn't exist simply because there's not much interest in it, Hard mode takes away a lot of cool strats and the kongs hitboxes are super janky.
As far the "route", my take on it is that the only way to beat hard mode, is to complete the 63 stages in whatever way possible. The character separation could be cool but some of those "categories" would be even less attractive to run.
I'm sure that someday someone will do a run of this and then the leaderboard for it will be created but honestly I don't see it happening any time soon.
ps: Your english is fine imo :P
I second everything JHobz said =)
