That link didn't work, but I changed my Discord username to match my username over here, if that helps.

Oh, I have not been on the Discord server yet. I may have to do that, though I have no clue how... :/ And yeah, I do mean that part of LM. But specifically, whenever you do a jump after a teleshot, you have a very small amount of time where you can initiate the jump after you've teleported. This is what allows you to jump around single blocks at the top of green beams, like in the rooms Blocked Way and Not So Hard. So I was curious if one of those kinds of jumps are necessary to get in the second teleshot jump. Does that help clarify my question? If not, I can try to ask someone if I am able to access the Discord server.

So I am unaware of glitch/technique names so please correct me if I miss them, but for the OOB trick on Lost Mountaintop, do you have to get the late jump after the teleshot to be able to get up, or does it just make it easier? I've been practicing trying to do the OOB trick, but I'm still pretty bad at it. I've gotten it probably a dozen times or so, but I've noticed the late jump helps me get it more consistently (I'm also inconsistent at late jumping). Also, if anyone has any tips for doing either of those tricks, please let me know! Thanks :D

Oh yeah. I realized I did that. I've found that when I do runs and I miss certain tricks (especially when I haven't learned to get them consistently), I really like trying them until I get them. In that case, it was timing the jump to be right after the speech bubble exit. Thanks for the pointers! Also, is dying and warping to Two Shots faster than getting the teleshot jump after the speech bubble?

Also, I had no idea I could have contacts... That's exciting!

Thanks for the advice! I'll try to submit a run sometime soon. My computer is currently in the process of being reset, but after that and fixing everything, I'll certainly give it a go.

I was thinking about trying to maybe get into speedrunning some through this game. Would anyone have any suggestions for someone new like me? This was the most relevant forum thread I could find, and I didn't think I should make a new one.

So I made my speedrun.com account less than an hour ago, because I found this page, and I just wanted to say that an OTS 2 would be amazing. Despite being short, OTS is arguably one of my favorite games, due to basically the 3 points BeardedBusker mentioned. This is the only game I've "tried" speedrunning, probably due to the how much I like it and how short it is. But yeah, I'd totally buy an OTS 2 if it's still a thing that's happening.
