I want to point out that there are multiple differences like this, for instance in mission where you kill Kel'thuzad, if you let the cinematic play until the end, you start with 1 building, if that, and its not even constructed, but if you skip the cinematic, the base will be fully made(prolly not really important in this mission, since its a rush, but still)

Probably ingame timer is better, because if you set the game to slower for whatever reason(there is a slider like that in options, dont forget, or you could hack the game to run faster), the ingame timer will sync with the game speed.

I am for deleting, its making running something like undead RoC basically impossible unless you want to monitor capture, which is really had idea for multitude of reasons(cinematics in the middle of the god damn campaign).

logical to skip imo, if you get prolog in full game, why not rexxar in TFT?
yea well but then will you say that "full game" run of TFT should include any% of rexxar campaign too?
You can use monitor capture, but that has its problems(if you play on main screen and then the game for some reason minimizes, you could leak information like skype login and stuff like that), so it definitely has its cons.
Yea prologue looks unnecessary in my opinion, its probably not interesting to watch in context of full game run either and its like 5 mins or something, so its not really impacting either
very late reply, but anyways.
I have a problem myself with obs, if it tries to play a cutscene(like the ending of human, or archimonde destroying dalaran) it will crash my game when doing game capture, so that may prove to be very difficult(unless you want to either window or monitor capture)
I think I will restrain from using it.
Well this time isnt even that amazing, because my micro and decision making is pretty bad, the only reason why this is sub 1 hour is the silence glitch on mission 5 :D
The thing with not using Illidan's items is that you would probably end up with some items with passive boosts(hp boost etc), but this should be easily clearable by just playing last mission where Illidan appears(dont know if thats last, or second to last, or whichever :D, I dont remember much of the NE campaign) and drop items, cheat and finish map, and his items will be saved to the game cache
So apparently Illidan in Human mission 5 starts with items that you left him in the night elf campaign with. I didnt even play the night elf campaign so he starts with nothing, but apparently you can get him a lot of items, summons mainly(being the most interesting for mission 6), but this would technically make the game ng+, so I wonder if this is at all allowed(Intentionally hoarding items in Night Elf campaign to make them transfer to Human)
I have a question for you MicroElf, can I use saves? As in, I save before for instance attacking some base, and if the attack fails, I load that save(not as in, I save on the last mission and just load that after speedrun starts, that would be bad), or do I have to restart the whole mission?
Also I think it could be good to specify on which version of the game the runs should be held(preferably the newest one, since it should be treated as the most balanced one, and downpatching just to get one op unbalanced unit seems a bit hackish to me).
Thanks
I saw guy doing a run trying to complete dragon slayer on free in shortest possible time, so things like quests could be doable for sure, since they require very low rng.
Maybe ironman total levels?(reach 500 lvl as fast as you can etc)
