Idaho, USAAs far as I know roms themselves are illegal. But if you own the respective game getting that rom is fine because you own the game. I’ve heard some mods will request a game dump or something to prove you own the game. Most games like Nintendo games have emulators like feucx banned and zsnes banned because the timing isent true to the actual game as if you were playing on a Nintendo or Super Nintendo. Check the rules of the game you want to speed run. I’ve been told if it doesn’t clearly say that emulators are banned and which ones then you can use them because I’ve asked those questions myself. I remember raging so hard as a kid at NG. This was the equivalent of soulsborne sekiro for me. So hard near the middle and end. I thought trying for the double dragon wr was gonna be hard til I watched this run.

I just meant if I don’t actually show the count how would it matter? How would you know? I guess xsplit would do that. I found speed run assistant for iPhone and frame perfect speed run so there’s two possiblitys.
How does that work? I have a iPhone 6. I can record gameplay from a Nintendo game but it wouldn’t really matter unless I had a timer or something to prove my run. How would I get a timer for it so everyone knows how long it took? Is there something everyone uses?

Mostly not pimped. You would need max thunderpoon for the gas town race. You could probably get by with medium armor on your car since the heavy armor is no good at that race anyway. And you can’t use your shotgun or upgrade your jacket which makes things double tough. But you can upgrade your legend which means you would really have to do a play through to see what you could live without when it came right down to living or getting killed.
Ok thanks. I’ll just figure something out with my nes. Maybe the mods will allow nesticle on pc for the few nes games I want to run. Ill ask.

Ty! I’m curious if I bought a nes classic would it count or no? Or if I used a pc emulator like nesticle? I’ve read that zsnes and fceux are illegal. PC would be easier todo everything. Record, Stream etc.. I can buy a converter if I have to but using a pc would ultimately be the way to go if it’s allowed.
Hi everyone! I’m new here. Looking forward to trying some nes speed runs! Can anyone tell me or point me to a tutorial that tells me what I need todo or buy to stream Nintendo games?? I have a soft modded wii with some roms of games I own but the emulators it uses are illegal for most games. I have a Nes and some games on my Sony Bravia, What else do I need?? Thanks for any help!!
I’m just finishing my second play through on PS4. That would be a tough speed run. I wonder how long it would take me to run through the whole game again just doing missions and wasteland missions... I’d have to haul ass and clear each area as fast as possible. Upgrades for the jacket and shotgun are out since I can’t use them. It would definitely take a little while. Getting car upgrades won’t be easy since the game doesn’t just give you lots of scrap. You have to earn it gradually.

I’ve been playing games like final fantasy 2/4 and 3/6 since I was 14. I look at the speed runs and gamers are beating these games in five hours and some change.. How? How is this possible?? It takes longer the five hours to level your character so you can beat the end boss. Hell I can’t beat FF3/6 in less then fourty hours and someone has beaten it in less then six! How do you play those games normally and beat them that fast?? I’m genuinely asking.
This is my favorite snes game besides FF3/6 How is it possible to beat this game under two hours??? That’s crazy! It takes longer then that to level Cecil and the crew to 50 and it’s some hard core old school grinding!!
