@Watsonator I'm assuming you're using a splitter the same as the video, but I've noticed that the split time is actually about five minutes faster than the overall IGT due to some cutscenes not counting on the splitter but counting in game and stuff. Is that intended or should those split times be the same as the IGT.

Basically just asking to know if I should be mentally knocking off that time from the times I'm getting or not, since those extra minutes would turn my 1:35:28 glitchless to possibly a sub 1:30

1:38:02 last night, could have saved about 30 seconds in the castle but I was dumb and forgot to unlock a door

I'm comparing it against in game time. It's pausing during loading screens, but any inventory management as well as the results screens in between chapters aren't pausing at all

Thank for all the assistance, downloaded GFWL and managed to get everything working fine. The only thing that isn't working properly is I've noticed that the autosplitter doesn't pause during inventory management during tactical resets which is a little problematic. I can slightly solve the problem by just pausing the timer, but me and my friend are wanting to track our times on both ends for consistency reasons and this might cause there to be some discrepancy in times doing it that way

I actually had no idea the door 2 shot was tied to not using the fan patch, me and my friend had been trying that for ages and could only ever get it in three so that's actually incredibly useful to know. We'd heard about the Ndesu 1 cycle as well but wasn't actually sure why it was tied to 30fps or why it worked but seeing as we've been using the patch the whole time that makes alot more sense

Strange that the standard for leaderboards isn't the patch since it seems to fix alot of base game problems, but thanks for the link to the installer, I'll give it a download and fingers crossed everything works fine with the game

Right, that makes more sense. I guess I just need to figure out how to download GFWL separately then since it's failing to install when I boot up the game through steam

I didn't actually know that, so are all the leaderboard results using the GFWL version then?

Any ETA on when this updated patch will work with the autosplitter? As my installer seems to have trouble installing GFWL so that might be easier for me to just wait for the patch compatability with the autosplitter

Am I going to have to use GFWL if I'm not using the patch? As I'd like to avoid having to install it if possible

Can you elaborate more on the first point? Am I supposed to uninstall the patch and force it to fail to reinstall or something?

Also to clarify if I'm doing this without the fan patch I also still don't want to have to go through GFWL, but I'm having trouble finding ways of getting on it without using either.

Is that the one to bypass the whole GFWL thing? If so then yeah I do have that patch installed so if that's the thing causing the issue that helps alot to know. What's the solution to running the game without the fan-patch and without using GFWL?

Having some trouble trying to get an autosplit working for this. Followed the tutorials gives in some of these other threads but it hasn't set up properly. I've tried all of the following things:

• Turning on the autosplit setting with the correct tickboxes for my version
• Changing the comparison to IGT
• Also tried it with a scriptable autosplit in the layout setting to the same file that the built in autosplitter goes to
• Tried downloading the files in the resources tab and changing things to the appropriate files, as well as not changing anything at all

All of these has had the same result of the autosplitter not starting when I begin from chapter 1. If there's a method I'm missing here or a file I don't have I could really do with knowing this since me and a friend are wanting to get this autosplit working before we try and improve our runs.
