Tennessee, USAHey Ivy. Believe it or not, this was not an arbitrary rule change and we did discuss it before the change was made. You are welcome to join the CQ Speedrunning Discord if you’d like to discuss it, which is where we originally discussed the change. And the reason I called the requirement arbitrary is because while the game does track the houses you’ve visited both on the map and with the house’s light on, this goes away once you complete the quest for that area. Whether or not you went to every house, every light turns off and every house is marked on the map as if you visited it. And there is no way to visit the houses you may have skipped. If there is a way to skip something without an opportunity to go back to it, then it should not belong in the 100% requirements. I hope this answered any questions. What GoodGoomba is entirely correct. That run didn't have Fast Action Guide Skip, but even if it did, we would not reject it for not showing firmware. The rule was made to discourage top level runners from keeping their switch on old firmwares when others were not able to.
