PortugalHello! Basically, yes you need to reset the level at every try, if you don't do that, we will calculate your time based on actual time and not what the game tells you.
Example: if you have a run where you go around and collect every fruit, then die and pass the level normally, the time starts when you first enter the level, not when you die. However, because the game restarts the clock, we need to time is ourselves with tools like retimers available online.

I personally believe that timestamping the video is the most important part, as mods should retime the run regardless of it being retimed by the user or not (I'm talking about you @RENI ). If a user submits a load of runs that are all in order and he doesn't die between those runs I really dont mind as well.
When I'm submitting a lot of runs, I always timestamp, as from personal experience its hella annoying if a person dies multiple times and I need to input the start frame multiple times.
Altho I sometimes get impatient, I agree that its rude for the mods to tell them to hurry verification especially when I dont retime my runs. I only asked once for moderation for Leap Day, a game with IGT (which I had input) where I had a seperate video for each run and my oldest pending run was 3 weeks old, but I dont think it really counts.
With that said, please stop bitching about farming, a small group of people doesn't represent the full community.

In rules its stated that audio is required and recording with 3rd party devices is not allowed.
May I ask why? A game that uses IGT should have no worries with splits since the time is displayed anyways and splits are very hard to edit since you would have to also put the contestant in the exact same position as before. Maybe say its recomended but not required
If you do not have a specific reason/Did not encounter any case where audio and or not recording with a 3rd party device was crucial for the verification of the run, I may ask you to remove these unnecessary rules
