I was looking through the document uploaded to the site by Pokeguy and i somehow managed to overlook the part in the beginning where i had to change the date. So anyways i was playing up till Opal, and it went pretty well for a test run. But then i had to change the date to the 23.rd of september and from there on i was confused. I quickly figured out what i had missed so i tried to leave the wild area, change the date, go back and see if i could find drilbur and the nchange the date again.

I couldnt find any drilburs despite my best efforts so i wonder if any1 got an answer to my following question:

"Had me not changing the date from the start anything to do with me not being able to encounter drilbur to progress?"

I play on a (European) physical copy of the game if that helps in any way.

Do all of the trick and skips in the game have that high inconsistency? I am just wondering since i thought this game might be fun to run, but if almost every trick involves an immense amount of luck i might not want to invest more time into it than its actually worth.

Can someone please tell he how the hell that log skip thing is supposed to work? I have tried to get it to work consistently for hours, but i never seem to be able to get it to work apart from being lucky and not understanding what it takes to launch myself up in the sky.

So i was watching the Any% WR video to try and gain som intel on important time skips that i could use in my own runs, without breaking the rules for the category. As the last stage had barely begun i noticed how Corpseflesh managed to run over a part of the map, just before collision dissapears and makes it to the other side, skipping a major part of the stage.

My question is the following: Is this skip in 'A walk in the park' mission allowed/banned from glitchless or am i allowed to make use of it in my runs?

I know that this is properly somewhat out of context, but i would like to know if a run would be considered valid if i were to reboot the game at a certain point. My runs have been interrupted by the game crashing right at the end of "Masks off". It turns out, that everytime i finish that specific level, the game gives me an error message and afterwards the game crashes and i cannot restart from the point where it crashed, which is the "Out of the ashes" mission.

What i would like to know, is if it's allowed to go through the menu to replay the mission that was loading before my game crashed and continue the run from that point, or if i just can't play the game properly.

I am kind of confused about the rules in any% glitchless. My questions are the following: Are you supposed to play on a certain difficulty? Are you allowed to play on a safe file that has every situational state unlocked so you can have certain skills throughout the run? If there is anything i have missed, please tell me. I really wish to know this. :)

I was wondering about speedrunning this category and i would like to know a couple of things.

1. Is the Prologue a part of the run?

2. What program is capable of recording warcraft 3 / compatible with directx?

if the mods could give me some answers i'd be grateful
