You can use the same mechanics as you could before with the Gravity Fling with fans instead. Pause while getting pulled by a fan, momentum keeps building, and you go flying after you unpause.
Would there be a possibility for a new category that foregoes ¤all¤ glitches in the game? Rather than trying to fenangle with a category based on what kinds of glitches are too gamebreaking and which are only minutely gamebreaking, we could just make a new category that just doesn't allow glitches in general. This way, nobody loses their times on the glitchless run either. I know that this would be the category that I'd personally enjoy the most, and it sounds like there's at least a couple who would enjoy this run the most as well. On top of that, it's aesthetically pleasing and shows off fast routes of the intended game. This category would also be much more marathon-friendly, were this game to show up on a GDQ or any kind of speedrunning livestream, since it doesn't rely on a dozen couple-frame tricks that simply make or break a run, considering how much time the backup strats generally lose compared to those in other popular speedruns.
Since this involves more than just superjumps, I figured it should be in it's own thread, and it also brings up a new point that I want to ask about what qualifies as a glitch. Should everything on this page, http://www.speedrun.com/DeadCore/guide/nzubj, be ruled out? Can we accurately judge what is or isn't a dashjump? Should the new cube boost that Sigma posted about be allowed or not? This is all assuming that the category is created, of course, but I would be really excited if it was.
