@TLC1 That's awesome! Basically bypass the really awkward squeegee stuff by getting a big win on unicorn. You should be able to just work to night at stickbucks right if you went for this route rather than working at mcsticks

Congrats on the wr @TLC1!!! Awesome to see new runners of this game since I've been around for like 5 years at this point lol with relatively few runs done. Your run makes me wonder what the best time possible would be. I have some timesaves in mind and wonder if anyone else has modifications to the route that would save time.

If you go for place on the yellow horse I think you get 1:25 odds which would get you the 25k in one gamble albeit lose you a lot of runs. But this would save a decent amount of time over 3 gambles I think.

Also we could still get a cleaner lab I think, I wonder if it's worth doing an IL category for lab? It takes a decent amount of practice but you can clear the lab continuously moving through and with more than 25hp left, meaning you wouldn't need to buy the mini burger or eat it.

Lastly if you got really lucky you could get sent to prison immediately after buying the gun and getting drunk, which would save 5ish seconds maybe.

This is all assuming there isn't some major route change that could be made to cut time.

@TheOGMiyagi In my all trophies run i buy the dvd and get skateboard later and I can't remember exactly why. You can just go straight into the skate shop and buy the board which costs like 235 iirc. Maybe I wanted to conserve money early on? Honestly can't remember.

Unrelated, but do you plan on doing runs of this game @TheOGMiyagi? Would be really exciting to see some new competition in this game lol

I would guess going for trophemon is quite a fast way to make money, like you can get 3000 from 3 trophemon without spending much. But then the fourth trophemon costs like 2k iirc. I think if you compare the route between h-dot's 7:32 and the current run, the main time saver is getting the skateboard. Faster transportation makes a huge huge difference to how fast the run completes, since essentially most of the run is moving across the map lol. So maybe a route that goes for the hoverboard as quick as possible?

I wrote those notes. I haven't got a clue to be honest. One of the achievements is called speedrun and involves beating the game in under 15 ingame days. So I suspect it just means beat the game and then go back into the world. Later on in the notes though it says to give the professor the 4d objects when you get them. This should really be viewed as a split in the route. As soon as possible get all of the 4d objects and give them to the professor because if you dont get it within 15 days the run is over.

There's a couple improvements to the route i've thought about before, for instance you should really be working jobs instead of sleeping to get to 22 million. But then some jobs aren't fully completable without the 22 million. So I guess do stuff like stickbucks first? I'm really rusty with this.

Might attempt a run of it. I reckon sub 1:40 is doable.

Edit: having done some runs I remember now you shouldn't go into the lab. Just speak to professor ansel until he goes to the lab and you will get the acheivement

Look at the second place run, it should have all the up to date strats and just copy that. Marriage is the simplest category in the game it's basically just get good rng from working in stickbucks and then move around between places.

Yes knightin'+ is a lot bigger and even the first dungeon which looks aesthetically similar to knightin' is a completely different layout. knightin'+ doesn't allow for oob or wrong warps
