My first test with an emulator was with the JP version, right after starting a run meant more for note-taking on my DC. I noticed certain cut-scenes seemed unskippable for a longer period. The one that stands out was mandrakes running down a road. Not sure if it was because of the JP version, the emulator, or bad memory. Maybe you know something about this?
Could I get a recommended set-up for everything (plugins, emu, timing software, etc).
I've wanted to speedrun this game for about a year, and finally have some time to grind. I've never speedran a game before, so I don't know where to start on timing software for this. Also, I noticed a few graphical issues with my current nulldc set-up. They were minor, but the closer I can get it to my dreamcast the better. Thank you!
Also, I'm happy to see the WRs wont be as easy to beat anymore!
Is there any advice for a reliable zodd on normal and/or hard? When I was playing around with speed running about a year ago I couldn't figure out a way to manage him.
So, is japanese best? I'm getting ready to start routing again. I had unrecorded runs that beat the previous wr a while back. College started up, so I never got around to recording. Starting to prepare things again.
Editted this as I misread the rules for accepted speed-runs, Sorry! Title name of this should be changed, I don't see a way to do this.
I'm preparing this game, because I love it and I've gotten tired of speed running Binding of Isaac.. I needed a new game to speed run and wanted to actually start recording for this game soon. Is there a way to have a different category for no-limit mode, as it's fun to do :).
I'm sorry if this isn't the place for this; I'm new here. Cheers o/
