Why isn't this Del Lago skip used? I stumbled upon a video of it a while ago

Is it not a real skip? I've watched a few RE4 runs and none of them did it. Or could it be a category I just have not viewed. Patched out?

I'm just curious, as I can't find any information on it. I tried it myself and it does not do that(With a pistol on NG), Del Lago eats me once I shoot the rocket
