i at no point said i don't want you to be mod. If you're mistaking my statement about stepping down, that was only in the case of you quitting speedrunning this game. I understand you're taking a break, and see absolutely no issue in that. Please don't put words in my mouth.

Most people whose videos are stream clips such as Messenger usually stream them running the game. If you'd like to look I'm sure other runners stream their attempts through their channels. Just check their little icons.

Just to clarify. Are we allowing people to post runs of 1-5 tablet runs if they're part of an Any% run, or part of the same run that's submitted for other categories?

If you're retiring you shouldn't be a mod. imo Not saying I want to be mod (I don't want to for this game.) I don't know if there's anyway to remove it from yourself but if you could, that'd be responsible.

I'm totally content with the current runs that we have listed, but I was just wondering if any of you guys had any funny ideas for interesting runs. A couple I had:

A run where the 1st tablet has to be done last

100% Run - Activating all 'lifts'/interacting with all totems/secrets

Race to the Top - A simple run to the center platform in the sky.

Of course these are pretty lackluster in thought, and only came to mind because I was trying to get all of the achievements in the game. Thoughts?

@SwedishCheese Yes! We need to do this! There seems to be a good thread on the community page where the devs are interacting with player's reports. I added a post quickly detailing the 0,0 bug because it didn't seem to be there yet. But I also mentioned the loading issues we're encountering at the start of some of our runs. Hopefully there's something that can be done. :)

Hey, I don't know who/where to ask, but because I like this game as a run, I see that there isn't much activity in editing the page itself to make it a bit more appealing, so I was hoping I could help.

It's not. I'd rather have a fair game than a huge player base. But that's just my opinion.

@StarOfDoom I totally understand that, which is why I brought up that I enjoy the starting area as a part of the run. I don't actually know how to run a splitter on my Mac, it seems that most of the programs I use either don't allow me to change the hotkeys/have none or just won't open. I just go by the frame when adding the timer to the run. Stopping it at the corresponding frames for the run. Unless I'm totally failing at setting up these timers, I'd be fine editing it with the extra work. If other players opt for the other "splitter" option, I'll have to sort it out.

I was literally just about to post this. I was trying to do a 1 Tablet run, and I always ended up 15-20 seconds behind StarOfDoom. I watched to see what was different, and found the huge discrepancy in loading time. Here is the run where it took a clear 20+ seconds to load... Maybe we should have the run start after the player loads into the main area? Although I like how the start can set you far ahead or totally wreck a run, if it makes it impossible for players to run at a equal field we may have to think of a way around it. Do you know if this also applies to when a player enters the final temple?

@StarOfDoom 8:12? Jeez, I just got under 9. It happens later in the video ~6:23. I was able to get around it in my second attempt, but I still think if there's a way to avoid it from happening it'd shave a huge amount of time off.

Yeah when I found the teleport I immediately threw away everything I was thinking. I found a strange glitch in my first attempted run between the two top runes. When I skipped the cutscene for the 2nd one it teleported me back to the original one. Hopefully this isn't permanent with the quit glitch.

EDIT: Here is the run: didn't want to upload because I think the glitch took some time off :?

I'm glad you're running the game! I'm also fairly new but it's cool to see others noobs are drawn to this game too. Credit should be given to the creator of the map. Unless I'm missing something, I'm pretty sure StarOfDoom created this map.

I'm expecting it to probably continue growing as this speedrunning community grows. IMO it doesn't have much playability after a full play through unless you're speedrunning it.

I agree with the 100% should be Any%. But it's the same difference as you require a 100% collection of the tablets to enter there anyways. I agree with these rules ;)
