Description

Well, I knew I was going to save huge amounts of time with the route change, but this time exceeded my expectations. Good RNG, except for waiting a bit for the boat. (Although, keep an eye on the ocean when I walk off towards Yew at the beginning of the run... the game tried to give it to me.)

The huge improvement here is from learning that deleting the whole party results in an instant game over, which then revives one of the resulting glitched characters. A revived glitch character is quite powerful and can quickly grab a boat without having to do any level grinding. Additionally, I realized that it's much more efficient to get money by transferring expensive armor from the glitched characters' inventory rather than by transferring gold directly. With the massive amounts of money I get from that, I can raise every character's int/wis to 99 and mow through the endgame fights with mass death spells.

Some improvement, but not a whole lot, is probably possible with better execution and RNG. I think it would probably be possible to work out a walk path that bypasses most (or even all) of the fights in Exodus, but I haven't done so yet. There are some other skips you can potentially do if you exploit the fact that glitched characters do have all the marks and cards, but I don't think any would save enough time to justify the time needed to set them up.

Played on a Panasonic FS-A1WX and captured with a RetroTink 5X-Pro. Final time determined by counting frames in Avidemux.
