Hi all! I just decided I will dive into the world of speed running and start with the game I just finished FINALLY on PS4. It seems there's not too many runners so would be a not-that-depressing game to start from and getting ass kicked, perhaps :)
I've been watching some speed running video of the game and I wonder is there any guidebook for the tricks you guys have been pulling off? For example I'm in 2-2 (Scaffolding), and don't understand how the crane jump is executed. I just simply fall through it every time. And I will definitely have other similar questions where your already gathered knowhow would help. Is this a thing to ask here, that you would reveal your secrets? :) Or are these things that should be going to Guides, which is empty at the moment? Any plans?

That's awesome, man. None of us have been active for awhile now but I've been waiting and hoping for some more competition to show up. It's a great speed game. One of the members actually hasna YouTube channel showing all of these glitches and talks about how they are done. I believe he also started working on a guide here writing out the tricks. It was not finished.
The crane one is relatively simple. Keep practicing it and you'll find the sweet spot. If you clip too far inside of the crane on the jump then you will fall through.

Will be familiarising with the guide and youtube instruction this weekend. Great job I have to say, finding those tricks and shortcuts, especially the out of bounds in the dark, dark forest :)
By the way, before the crane glitch guide I managed to do it twice myself. I bet it is all about more practicing!
