I'm getting 1500+ speed consistently with rake tapping, is this new?

Basically, I figured out how to three finger rake tap the A button and was almost able to max out the running speed meter while messing around on emulator and I'm wondering if I should break out the official hardware and get some of these scores legitimized (idk if you guys track IL scores here, all I have to go off of is Twin Galaxies):

100m - 8.02s (second place according to Twin Galaxies) Long Jump - 11.28m (Tied for 5th) Hurdles - 10.88s (2nd place) Javelin - 125.52m (WR?)

There's no way I actually beat the Javelin world record (on unofficial hardware) in like 5 minutes of attempts after learning rake tapping, right? I feel like I'm missing something but idk if TG is really active since most of these records are from the mid 2000s.

I can post a video of me performing this on actual hardware if this is useful information for speedrunning. Based on the WR speedrun it looks like people are typically getting around 1400 speed out of the 1600ish max whereas my method is getting around 1550 most of the time. The WR video looks like they are using a very similar method to mine (raking several fingers back and forth over the buttons) so idk what I could be doing to be reaching a faster speed with such a similar approach.

I'm totally new here so idk what other info to provide other than that I was on the US NES version (emulated).

Rake tapping is similar to what I do, but I'm not dragging all the way over the button. I just use 2 fingers and as soon as I press with 1 I reverse direction and press with the other, etc. I've tried 3 on the NES controller and my hands are too big to make it useful. I can do it on other controllers and it's faster. I just can't on NES pads. So it's easy to see that you can be faster. Those are mostly my scores at TG too. Also, with your speeds you should be able to throw the javelin much farther and go faster on the 100m. I used to be faster so I know. I'm 50 now and still have most, but not all my speed.

I found my NES and controllers to fully test everything and yeah the main issue appears to be that the regular NES controller buttons are concave so they don't glide over the fingers well at all, and the dogbone version of the controller has convex buttons but has way to high of button travel distance, apparently this controller I was using on emulator happens to be the exact perfect combination of these two controllers to make the three finger raking work on emulator.

I'm going to keep experimenting with stuff and see if I can find a way to make it work on original hardware since at this point the emulator setup I have seems to be an unfair advantage. So far using your nails instead of your pads of your fingers seems to make the gliding significantly improved but still not 1500+ like on emulator. I almost wish there was an NES controller that was the dogbone buttons but the original controller shape and travel distance, I don't suppose actually swapping these components or grinding down the button plastic until it glides better would be in the spirit of the run though haha.
