hey looking at doing speed runs of this game, can i run this game on an emulator for a speed run? and also what rules are there for emulator speed runs?

ahh cheers mate was wondering if he had a set of links for download roms for it. Am i allowed to use any emulator program (using ePSXe latest version atm)
You have the emulator we use with the settings we use in the RESOURCES tab to the left. :) The ROM / Discs you have to find yourself. However, you will not be able to be published on the front page if you use an emulator to speedrun the game. It is recommended to use ANY real console which have LOD available (PS1-2-3-Vita). :)
You can't use any emulator because it will be different speed for each emulator. Also the emulator suggested by us are faster than the real console. So it would not be comparable to a real console run. Which is why you can only publish emulator runs in the individual disks section.

cheers man, gonna just use the emulator to get a feel for the run before i spend the big $$$ on the game itself shame no digital copy of it =(
yeah i live in Australia and spent a few hours trying to find it logged in my American account and could not find it
It certainly is available at the PS3 (US Store). I have it myself for the PS3. Are you sure it's an american account? Not Canadian or South American? I'm sure it is available.
