I discovered that upon completing a run, or selecting Quit from the menu, not during a level, but during the lane complete stage, the next time you load a new game you will load into the first lane approximately 3-4 seconds SLOWER than normal.

Selecting Quit while in the middle of a lane, before you finish it, does not cause this error.

Playing as any character other than Fred makes it easy to recognize when you will get a slow load, because if you ever go back to start a new game and the character select defaults to say Dino, or any other character, if WILL slow load. Playing as Fred makes this harder to recognize since it will default to him no matter what.

To fix this, you must start a new game, immediately quit, and start again so you get your fast load back for the first stage.
