I'm not sure if this is already known, and it doesn't seem like a huge exploit since you are still locked in the machine's room, but I found that if you trash an item in your inventory it will be replaced with Erase-99, before interacting with the machine.

I've been working on a TAS of this game and I've tried to replicate this glitch since I had Teleport on someone. I couldn't get Erase-99 to show up after trashing an item from the inventory. Is there a particular version of the game you were using or any other conditions? Granted, I don't think this glitch would save that much time since on soft reset for the GBC/GBP the Warrior always hits with Saw turn 1.
