When you update the trophy icons, the url to the new image has a new parameter for icon version, and it takes time for the site to use the new version parameter. But I'm curious, how long does it usually takes?

Specifically, I'm having issue with the game https://www.speedrun.com/hasty_shaman . At the time of writing this, you can see that only the 1st place trophy was updated (gold chest), the 2nd place trophy is still the original version.

I updated all trophy icons about 16 hours ago.

Well, strange that it's not the same for everyone, even without relying on browser cache. Or perhaps I missed something in the process for how it works.

In my case it's immediately. Same as above, i also saw the Grey ones. But yeah, it might be different cases to some degree, either because of their browser choice (i use Edge, so dunno if it has the same effect as Chrome or not) or just a random cache issue.

This thread reminded me that i changed the trophy icons for Albion Online a few months ago. Seems like they still haven't updated on any of my devices so i just removed them now 🤷

@Liv It wasn't just one device, it was on two phones with chrome and two PCs with either chrome+firefox or firefox+2 different chrome versions (haven't tested on edge yet, though that is basically chrome now).

But maybe the files just didn't fit the requirements of the site, can't know since there is no error message or documentation
