Does anyone know why this is happening?

Left is me on PC, right is @tybrn21 on PS2

I can barely control my car and get slowed down ALOT, while tybrn can cut with basically no effort

It´s not setup related, I tested that already

Also I am on Version 1.2 (I think), maybe 1.0 or 1.1 doesn´t have this?

Alternatively it could be console based?

I tried a PS2 Emulator, and yea, its console based

do the physics feel any different between the two?

Its hard to tell, because I can´t use the same main input, but they feel very similar using keyboard
