I tried several times. Downloading origin costs me nothing but random crashes and random duplicated installations and having EA popping up everywhere after re doing the described steps carefully many times. I think showing Steam's launch options is supposedly to be enough since I can't even put any launch options through the EA app what so ever, the only way and place that I might be able to put any launch options is Steam. Apparently this is due to having the game bought from Steam. I think there should be an exceptional case regarding this
The rules have been updated, now stating: *You're allowed to use gaming platforms such as Steam, EA App, Origin, or Epic Games. If you purchased the game on Steam, you may not show advanced launch options in the EA app because launch options are not visible there.
