I have some questions about the new Any% category.

1. Is any version of the game allowed? Is it allowed to switch versions in a run?

2. Is it allowed to watch ads to get keys/coins/skip missions?

3. Is it allowed to leave the game during a run? Is it allowed to change the time settings to timetravel in the game to jump daily events and such? Is it allowed to change VPN settings to circumvent no available ads? And is it allowed to setup macros to change time/VPN settings?

4. Is double coins allowed?

5. Why are android and iOS seperate categories?

Also thanks for the new category, I proposed it approx. two years ago to a mod and I am really happy to finally see it on here! Keep it up guys!

I am guessing that 2 and 3 are allowed, since the latest iOS rung got verified using those thechniques.

1. Any game version is allowed. You are not allowed to switch versions during a run.
2. To get keys coins no. To skip missions yes. (Only in mission skips)
3. You can leave the app. Time Travel I don't know actually. Will look into that
4. No as its an in-app purchase
5. Android and iOS are separated as I was told they are different enough to do so when I was adding the category.

Thanks for the reply. I think time travel has to be allowed, bc some missions (e.g. complete 3 word hunts) are only possible on seperate days in the no-mission-skips category.
I didn't know there was any difference between iOS and Android. Has it something to do with being able to skip ads on Android?

When discussing the rules with the runner who wanted this added, we decided that word hunts are the exception to No mission skips, so they are allowed to be skipped even in that category.

So I'm guessing time travel will not be allowed, since skipping Word Hunts is always allowed? Allowing the Time Travel Glitch would make it possible to quickly do Word Hunts in succession and to actively farm daily coins/daily boxes and passively farm daily high score rewards (Coins, Hoverboards, Score Boosters and Headstarts) by changing the time to the next day and restarting the app. In addition you could set the time to days with the shortest daily words to save time. Also time travel is not possible on web AFAIK.
IMO this would make the categories more interesting and eliminate the need to allow skipping some missions on no-mission-skips, but it would also make the categories more glitchy...

I will discuss it with the runners of the category. since we just outright forgot this was a thing.

also in versions around 1.20 you have the infinite jetpack glitch. not allowed right?
