So, why change ILs over to Full Game? To me, it makes Classic look like a mess.

It was a decision that was made in the Smash64 discord, the people that responded thought it would look the best this way. easier to navigate and see not just the WR time. and you can argue it isnt really an IL its just playing Classic Mode with a character, which would be more of a full game category. an IL would be more related to Target Test or Board the Platforms, but i digress. It brings attention to the other full game categories and shows off not just WR. I hope you dont hate it too much :3 it was a lot of work lmao

It's slightly better to track with it that way. ILs being labeled for Classic runs is just how it's been handled most of the time. I personally think it looks fine, especially since it's the more important categories. bonuses were already handled pretty well on cyberscore so for speedrun.com we focus on the classic mode.

I'm not going to throw a stink over it, since I do not run the game anymore. I appreciate the time and effort that went into it.

I find the amount of variables/subcategories to be inelegant, is my main issue. This is more of a site wide issue in terms of organization and representation.

I think we should remove the different category : English n64, japanese n64, Pal n64, wii VC It just makes it way harder to see what's the best time honestly. We could do like other board and in platform we just mention on what system did we achieve the time.

I think it would be better than having 4 * 3 * 12 category on the main page It could just be 3 * 12

Is there still a discord committed to Smash64 speedrunning? I'm finally getting a capture card capable of 240p sometime soon and am going to be doing runs again, would be great to be able to talk to people lol
