I have a question to the SpellForce TOOD Any% Run. In the rules of the category is says "You Can Save And Load The Game State." Does this mean, its allowed to start the run on a day and save after a few hours to continue on the next day? Or does it have to be for example 40 hours non stop running? Im just wondering because the SpellForce Any% run would be very long
Hello, I Added This Rule, Because It Is A Strategy Game And Some Levels Tend To Be Very Long & Problematic. The Short Answer To Your Question Is "Yes", But I Also Have Some Doubts Because Most Games On SR.COM Even The Strategy Games Does Not Have This Option Available For Runners. I Was Thinking About Creating A New Category: Individual-Level% With Rule: "You Can Save And Load The Game State." And Change The Rule In Any% Category To "You Can Not Save And Load The Game State." What Do You Think About My Proposition? If Someone Has Any Objections Or Suggestion I Am Always Open For Discussion. Regards, Matthew
Hey :D Personally, I think the two categories would be too similar. In principle, it would be the same category once with breaks and once without. From my point of view, it would make sense to include breaks in the existing Any% category. For example, the runner could take a maximum of 4 breaks in the entire run. And to ensure that there is no cheating, the runner shows the date and time of the save in the menu after saving. When the runner loads it, the date and time is shown again, to prove that there was no playtime while the timer was paused.
