Heres my dilemma: im aiming for a top time in each time attack and i know to do this i need to get on Valuses head by the end of the cutscene. but what i dont know is, where on his face am i supposed to grab? i cant get to his sigil in one jump, so i dont know where i should be ideally aiming to grab. is the ideal place his chest? the fur under his eye? his nose? im just not sure.

It actually is possible to jump directly to the sigil, but doing it while the cutscene is playing will just take a whole lot of trial and error to develop a feel for it.

Oh, interesting, ill have to practice that. (must be tough though!) Ive done all the time attacks but not at the elite level so some of these tricks i dont know... speaking of which in this video, the player was able to start running and perform a jump stab IMMEDIATLY after he did the second stab without having to wait for wander to pull the sword out. any idea on how he does this? heres the video...

oh, sorry link doesnt work. but its by noocurrname and its his valus 24:94 vid. I figured out through trial and error you can skip the pulling the sword out animation via rolling, but i cant figure out how he can just start running like that... it seems to be faster too...

He's getting knocked loose from the plant after the second stab, which means he can just let go. I think that vid's on the ps2 version though. Ps3, you'd get shaken out of those stabs.

ok. got it. thanks. also, im planning on going for time times on each colossus for nta and hta. im new though. since valus has all these gimmicks and tricks like the cutscene move, is he the hardest one to get a world record in? if not which one is? in other words, which colosus is hardest to get n optimized time in and why?
