Maybe the TAS could do it
My theory was that the spark pylon does not count as a capture (according to the game) because you die when you capture it. To test this theory, you will also need a hack that allows you to bypass cap-luncheon, because if you go to ruined on a saved file, the game will say you captured the pylon because you captured one in cap kingdom after the topper fight. Sorry I explained that badly, please try to understand.
Yup she does so just using a file that has already gotten toadette is fine and then you can see whether the counter goes up (only for tests not runs)

At the end of the three captures run the runners (I think) show that they got 3 captures. Also the definition of a capture is that anything that Mario can turn into that allows different movement, and a different look. Spark pylons fit both of those. I don’t know why you’re arguing this.
I’m just wanting to know if the spark pylon is a capture you don’t have proof of it adding anything to the capture list. I want that.
Also there’s no way to show how many captures you got the game only counts the different capture types you got
you can't just get proof for something like that sadly you won't know, you'll just have to assume it does count. plus the spark pylon at the end of the game doesn't count because if cappy touches it, it does absolutely nothing, also you can't control the spark pylon to the credits which in ruined you can, that's about as much proof as you'll get.
That's what I've been saying. You need to do that to test my "dying at the same time theory"
So we don’t have video proof but my friend madame broode with Cappy by using a crc to touch madame broode so may if u hit a certain area in the ruined kingdom using a crc.
