Hey! Weird question, out of curiosity. Would it be theoretically possible to skip capturing bowser in moon kingdom. Don't have access to the game rn, so can't test it. I would be thankful for any answers.

right now nobody found a way to skip it, but in my opinion I think bowser capture is the only one that would be abled to be skipped in minimum captures

Think ruined is more likely. With bowser we’d need a new out of bounds glitch and infinite height. With ruined we’d just have to get infinite height.

Isn't there bouncy bowser skip or something with a name like that, if so, would it be possible to do a dss type movement to make your way past the 2d section.

You’d still need to get to the platform at the bottom of the 2D section (seems too far)
Oh and that in the last room you can’t enter the wire without being in the bowser capture and the trigger for the ending cutscene is very high up (requiring infinite height)

Can the wire only be entered as bowser, i know if you show up as mario the block that surrounds the pylon is invisible, but theoretically if mario were to get into that space, could he enter the pylon cutscene?

we know that bowser skip is potentially possible, it has been proven (with noclip and infinite cap bounces)
imo if we skip either bowser or ruined wire, we will skip the other (because we have an infinite height glitch)

I feel like bowser is gonna be skipped using a lot of oob stuff to skip it and finish the game with only 2 captures

Skelux made a video off this 2 years ago and the 2D pipe and the wire in the end don't trigger as Mario

With our current knowledge:
Cap wire: will likely never be skipped. In order for the Odyssey to spawn in Cascade (and to like, progress the game,) you must take the wire path to the loading zone while in the capture.
Ruined wire: current best theories are that if we could get an uproot into ruined somehow we could use cframe origin warps to warp to the arena (this is proven to work), or an infinite height glitch to go up.
Bowser capture: Proven with infinite cap bounces and noclip, we would need to clip through some walls and have an infinite height glitch.

if we somehow had the power to spawn uproots in ruined we would most likely already be able to warp from cascade to moon or load a different scenario of cascade or some shit lol

the odyssey's existence in cascade isn't bound to scenario. something like that is unrealistic anyway
