No because in this game running isn't used that much, vectoring gives you more speed than normal running. Vectoring doesn't require pressing the run button, so it wouldn't change a lot.

Ok yeah it would take longer to get vector speed because you can't roll

It still wouldn't be too much slower because of things you can do without the run button. Pretty unnecessary imo
