Here's an idea for a new speedrun category for Skyrim, a Destroy the Dark Brotherhood category, it's fast and simple, just kill everyone in the sanctuary and be on your way.

If you have a speedrun you believe is interesting and a must have for the community, the best way to include it is to try and actually run it, see how it looks and all. It is hard for us in this game to include even more categories as we have like 80000, so if you finish a run and it seems like it would be a very competitive, innovative and interesting one. Then please show it to us in the discord!

How would I go about doing that? I'm new to this sort of thing.

Record a run, and upload the video online, then either post in the forum here or on the Skyrim Discord for us to verify and see the run and we can then add it as a category. That is what I did for my Stones of Barenziah run.

My best recommendation is to learn the main quest category, it doesnt need to be good, or even speedrunned, but just learn how other runs work, what the ideas behind all the implementations are and what glitches you can use for your run. As if you just start to route without knowing all the available resources it would be kinda hard and slow. After that, you would want to actually start to see what else you need to achieve your run and then just find the fastest way to get it.
