The first thing you will want to do is reset until the planets Andross takes over are Taitania and Eladard, the yellow and purple planets respectively. The reason you can do this is that timing starts after you pick your wingman, and the game decides which planets Andross takes over before this.

Now that you have the first RNG hurdle done, you will want to select Fox as your main character and Falco as your wingman. While Fay and Miyu can charge up charge shots faster and fly faster, Fox and Falco's smart bombs more than make up for this. Immediately mash start to skip the cutscene of Fox and Falco flying out of the mothership and the first dialogue box.

Fly to your mothership and chose to warp to Venom, the planet up and to the left of Eladard. Head into the Carrier and fly through it before destroying its core. Make sure you boost during all of this except the core fight. After this, engage the ships right next to you. Throwing a smart bomb immediately should instantly kill all the ships. You have a slight chance of getting screwed over here if you enter from a bad angle, but most of the time you'll be fine.

From here, fly over to Eladard and engage Pigma. Throw a smart bomb and then shoot him once, and he will go down. Now, after you exit this battle, mash select until you have switched to Falco, and then enter Eladard. The surface on this planet is very easy once you get the hang of it. Boost forward, and once you automatically switch to walker form, switch back. Boost forward again and throw a smart bomb before switching to walker form. If done correctly, you will end up right in front of the door of the base with the barrier destroyed.

In the base, start by running forward and jumping onto the switch. Head into the next room, and shoot the enemy crawling on the wall until it dies. If it drops a twin blaster, grab it. If it drops anything else, ignore it. Destroy the core and you will be finished with Eladard. Immediately fly to the mothership and warp to Macbeth, the red planet. Fly over to the carrier and do the same that you did with the first carrier.

Unlike after the first carrier, ignore the ships and switch to Fox before flying to Taitania. Kill Leon exactly the same way that you did Pigma. Switch to Falco, and enter Taitania. This is a pretty simple surface are, and all you have to do is fly over to the switches, switch to walker form, step on the switch, and then fly over to the next target and repeat. Once inside the base, boost through the first section and switch to walker form in the room with the tank.

The tank is very simple to kill, but there is a catch. If you did not get twin blaster after killing the thing crawling on the wall in Eladard's base or from this tank, it's a good idea to reset if you are going for a PB or WR. From this point, prepare for the hardest part of the run, Mirage Dragoon. It's a simple fight, but one that can easily kill a run. After killing it, you will immediately fight Wolf, and he's a pushover. Your remaining two smart bombs will kill him. After this, the run becomes very straightforward with one exception. When hit with the fork in the road in Andross's base, turn right.
